Day 1 : Guided Day Tour to Bab al-Futuh & Old Cairo Treasures

Start exploration at Bab al-Futuh, one of the three surviving gates of the ancient Fatimid wall that once encircled the city.

Built in 1087, this structure served as a military gateway and a symbol of strength. Marvel at its rounded towers and intricate stone carvings as you hear stories of medieval battles.

Continue along Al-Muizz Street, often called Cairo’s open-air museum, where minarets pierce the sky. Your guide will lead you through architectural gems, including Al-Hakim Mosque, Bayt al-Suhaymi, and traditional sabils (water fountains).

End your tour at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s most famous market. Enjoy time to browse for brass lanterns, handmade perfumes, and colorful fabrics in an atmosphere bursting with history and life.
